For two last year’s we are already enjoying Rock Harz festival, and I could only add that this festival has been lately one of my favorites! I think that the festival capacity is around 25.000 which is actually quite a large number of people but still Rock Harz has stayed one of the well-kept secrets in Germany. Most of the people who visitors are actually from Germany or Austria so one could hear only German around us.

There are two big stages, so the entire idea is quite simple since is quite easy to see all of the bands and to follow everything comparing for example to Wacken which is indeed hard to follow. There’s a lot of camping space for the quest, but you have one town which is nearby where most of the fans are staying.

Anyhow, for 2024 we were interesting to see many acts from HammerFall to Bruce Dickenson. I could say that some of the best shows were from Pain but there were also some less popular and prominent bands that I was really eager to see. For example, I really like the show of Storm Seeker and Dying Fetus as well.

I have to say that the highlight was with Bruce Dickinsone’s show which I expected to see so far. He has performed some of the songs from his latest album which I think its indeed great despite the fact that some of the people do not like it. It was also a pleasure to see and hear some of the older tracks that he has never performed before live on stage. The entire BD’s band is really awesome, and this was the top performance on the festival although I have enjoyed HammerFall and Pain show as well.

Of course, there was no question that Amorphis show would be one of the best shows on the festivals so perhaps the first day was one of the best. Amorphis are really great band, and they have performed various songs from their really rich career although I have as always enjoyed in the older ones. But nevertheless, since they are playing some of the most popular songs it was such a pleasure to see them live.

I have to say that the opening day perhaps was the best one although I have enjoyed on other days as well. benediction show was one of my favorites it was such pleasure to see this band around after so many years. The same goes for Dying Fetus are always delivering the best metal shows.

I have to admit that the last day with Judas Priest and Hypocrisy was also the great one. Hypocrisy has delivered one of the best shows since they have performed all the best songs from their entire career and it such a great pleasure to see them once again on the stage. I love all their songs from different part of their career so each and every song that they have played was amazing one. For the JP show we do not need to waste any words it was really amazing to see this band one more time on teh stage since they are a legends!

We are already looking for the festival in 2025 and looking forward to visits this amazing festival one more time! See you in 2025!
