ROCKHARZ FESTIVAL 2025

We look forward to our favorite metal festival with more than 50 bands! Only day tickets are still
available for this summer’s metal festival highlight!
ROCKHARZ started in 1993 as a small, one-day indoor festival and has become one of the best-known
and most popular festivals in the metal scene ever since.
Small gigs on truck trailers are history, because by now around 20,000 metalheads make the
pilgrimage to the grounds of Ballenstedt Airport. The distribution of the bands over four days with
only two stages prevents the annoying overlapping of concerts, so you are guaranteed to see all your
favourite bands without missing anything. In addition, ROCKHARZ still impresses to this day with
short walking distances and a campsite that allows you to park a car right next to your tent. Another
great service is the ROCKHARZ supermarket in the middle of the site: If you’ve forgotten something
or don’t want to lug everything with you on your journey, you’ll find toothbrushes, food and co. here.

We will celebrate the 2025 edition of ROCKHARZ from July 2nd to July 5th and experience one of the
best line-ups of this summer’s metal festivals – including Powerwolf, Saxxon, Heaven Shall Burn, In
Extremo and many more as you can read below.
ROCKHARZ 2023 will once again be a festival for everyone. At hardly any other festival, despite its
size, there is such a family atmosphere where everyone looks out for each other. They never stop
taking further steps, and so, for example, enough space is planned for a barrier-free campground and
further inclusive offers are created.
Ticket sales also show how well the festival is received. Many buyers are regulars and all festival
tickets typically are sold out several months in advance! But there are still day tickets for Thursday,
Friday and Saturday available, with which you can experience the ROCKHARZ feeling for a full day.
